To all the wives out there...
...who call up your husbands to ask for directions - here's a little tip. Should such a situation arise, it will help matters a great deal to let the husband do the bulk of the talking and you do the bulk of the listening. I know, I know! This is not the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for countless other types of situations. But trust me on this one.
